Where does the data come from?
The data is provided by The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (Queen's Printer of Ontario), The City of Toronto, and real-time updates by ProCommuter staff and other privileged ProCommuter users.
How do I get the ProCommuter Application?
Download ProCommuter by entering procommuter.com/ota into your Blackberry Browser.
How much money will the ProCommuter cost me to download and use?
The ProCommuter BlackBerry Application is free to get from us, however, by downloading and running the application, you will be using your carrier data plan to download data from ProCommuter.com, which depending on your data plan, will have differing costs.
How much data does ProCommuter download?
The base data is under 3 KB (kilobytes), but the number incidents on the highways and the size of the advertisements can increase the data size to 6 or 7 KB per update. Each small highway advertisement is stored in memory on the device so that they are only downloaded once.
Does ProCommuter work on my older BlackBerry?
BlackBerry Operating System version 4.0 and newer are supported.
